Professor Wong Kam Fai is Associate Dean (External Affairs) of the Faculty of Engineering, Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, Director of Centre for Innovation and Technology, and Associate Director of Centre for Entrepreneurship, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He is Fellow of Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) and active in social activities. He serves at Executive Committee of Council for the Promotion of Guangdong- Hong Kong - Macao Cooperation. He was a pioneer in promoting entrepreneurship in university. In 1998, he successfully translated his research outputs of AI technologies to a start-up company. Professor Wong Kam Fai has been actively promoting collaborations between Hong Kong and Mainland China. He believed that Hong Kong as an international technology hub is playing an important role in global digital economy.
